Joggin’ for the Noggin! – Virtual 5k

Joggin’ for the Noggin! 5K presented by Regal Lakeland has been a tremendous success for the past eight years and is a favorite Halloween-themed race. This event has given Polk State College Foundation the opportunity to raise over $68,000 to support student scholarships and programs on the Lakeland campus.

Now celebrating its ninth year, this year’s event offers a new twist to our Halloween-themed race – run or walk in support of Polk State at a day/time of your choosing, October 1 – 31! Participants can run, jog, or walk this 3.1 race or complete a shorter distance with the one-mile Walkin’ While Talkin’ sponsored by Citizens Bank & Trust.

Proceeds from the race are invested back into the Lakeland Food Pantry on the Lakeland Campus, the Polk State Women’s Soccer team, and to support student scholarships. Although we are running and walking apart, there are still ways to come together for this event! Use the hashtag #PolkStateJ4TN to post pictures on Facebook of you and your friends (socially distancing) at your personal finish line!
