2025 Run For the Boolies 5k

Run for the Boolies is a Halloween themed evening 5K chip timed race around Lake Hollingsworth loop trail in Lakeland, Florida on Saturday, October 4th, 2025 at 6 pm. All proceeds benefit the nonprofit dog rescue Polk County Bully Project and fund their mission to help the homeless dogs of Polk County. Walkers and socialized dogs are encouraged to join the fun! All registered participants who walk, jog, run, crawl, zombie, or thriller dance across the finish line will receive participant medals and a race T-shirt. This family friendly event will have age bracket awards and a dog costume contest. Virtual option is available for those who wish to support this worth cause but can’t make it to the event.
