Prepare to gear up for the Sun ‘n Run road race taking place at Lakeland Linder International Airport (LAL) on April 13th at 7 am, coinciding with the 50th annual SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo. As you participate in the race, you’ll have the thrilling opportunity to witness the spectacular launch of over twenty (20) hot air balloons. The race route will wind its way down Runway 5/23, Taxiway A, and various interconnected taxiways and ramps, leading to the exhilarating finish line.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Women in Aviation Lakeland Chapter, Lakeland Linder International Airport’s Aerospace Administration Scholarship, and the Lakeland Aeroclub, a flying club dedicated to high school flying enthusiasts.
