About This Event
Course information will be added. The race will be chip timed.
TOY DRIVE: The Double Down 5k will be a Rudolph Round-Up Toy Drive location. Please bring a new unwrapped toy with you to the race. You may also donate directly online at www.heartlandforchildren.org.
Early Registration through November 17 - $25
Late Registration - November 18 until Race Day (shirt not guaranteed) - $30
There are no virtual race options.
Lakeland Runners Club Member Race Vouchers must be postmarked by November 15, and must be accompanied by the printed registration form. No vouchers will be accepted on race day. NO EXCEPTIONS
Registrations are not refundable; to request a registration transfer, please complete and submit our Registration Transfer Form. We cannot guarantee the new runner's shirt size is available, but we'll do our best to accommodate. Transfers for the Double Down 5k must be submitted by November 17, 2018.

Race Day Packet Pickup & Registration
6:00 am to 7:15 am Saturday, November 24
Race Start Area
Shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registered runners.
Technical Shirt, Gender Specific
Switching shirt sizes may only be done after the race is completed as supplies last.
Age Group Awards
Awards will be presented to the overall male and female using gun time. Chip time will be used for Overall Masters (40 and over), Grand Masters (50 and over) and top 3 finishers male and female in each age group. Divisions begin with 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 and over. No duplicate awards.
Awards will be presented following the race at 9:00 am near the finish area.
Photos & Results
When official results and photos are available, a link will be posted in the Lakeland Runners Club Facebook Group. Please allow several hours for official results and several days for photography.
Course Information, Aid Stations & Restrooms
Start Line is near the entrance to Fletcher Park at Lake Bonny
There is one water station on the course as runners pass the path leading to the finish area. Runners will pass this water station twice.
Port-o-lets are available near the start & finish area.
Parking is available at Fletcher Park to each side of the entrance (yellow shaded areas in map above). The north parking lot will be closed first to allow the runners to enter the start corral.

Restrictions – Safety is our first priority!
For everyone's safety - no strollers, bicycles, roller skates, in-line skates, and dogs will be allowed on the race course. The use of headphones is discouraged.
Walker Friendly Events
Our mission is to promote running, walking, and general fitness in group settings. Walkers are encouraged to participate in all races. The finish line chute will remain open for one hour and 30 minutes.
Children Under 12 (runners OR walkers)
For their safety, children under 12 are strongly discouraged from lining up with the elite runners at the start line.
