USF SWE 7th Annual 5K Fun Run – Virtual

Join us on October 4 – 10, 2020 as we host our first ever virtual race for the 7th annual USF SWE 5K Fun Run to support STEM education and help us continue our mission to promote women in engineering fields. This year’s run will be completely virtual, giving participants the opportunity to race in the way you are most comfortable. You can run in your own neighborhood, a local park or even on a treadmill! Log in your distance and time via the RaceJoy app, and see who comes out on top once all results have been submitted on the last day (Oct. 10 at 1 PM). Challenge the whole family to a race and register today!

All proceeds will benefit the Student Section of the Society of Women Engineers at the University of South Florida. The funds raised will help the section continue their mission of promoting women in the engineering field through innovative workshops, national conferences, and superior networking, as well as community outreach that promotes STEM programs to students in middle and high school. A portion of the funds will support our scholarship program which helps encourage students to pursue education in a STEM field.
