All runs start at First Presbyterian Church on Lake Hollingsworth. Thursday’s workouts are intervals of various distances. There are about 20 interval workouts that we rotate through. Fall/Winter workouts are geared toward marathon and half marathon distances. Spring/Summer intervals are planned with 5K's in mind. Workouts are usually about 6 miles total and last about 1 hour. We run most of our interval workouts on the path around Lake Hollingsworth.

Mitchell's Coffee House Run Long Run Saturdays at 6 am 235 N Kentucky Ave, Lakeland, FL 33801 Routes of 3, 6, 9, and 13+ miles. Runners enter a drawing for a free breakfast every week, plus free water and coffee are provided. All Saturday morning runners receive 20% off the cost of their breakfast too. This is a great way to get in your weekly long run.

Join us every Sat for a fun 5K with friends in beautiful downtown Lakeland! Runner/walkers meet at Black & Brew at 7:45a.m., depart at 8a.m., and return to Black & Brew to partake in the weekly runner's special. Get fit, have fun! The HSN CARES Par4Miler at the Valspar Championship is a four mile timed run on the cartpaths of the Copperhead tournament course! Finish at the 18th Green and Post-Race Party in the Hospitality Suites!

The Program is open to kids of all running abilities 5 years old and up. The program directors help prepare the kids for a lifetime of running. Parents do not have to be LRC members for their children to run. However, the Lakeland Runners Club does offer a student membership for only $5. The workouts will include stretching, repeats, sprints, and distance runs. Parents are required to stay at the track for the entirety of the kids program.

FITniche's Tuesday Night Pub Run takes place at the Cleveland Heights Golf Course clubhouse every Tuesday at 6 pm. Location is 2900 Buckingham Ave, Lakeland, FL 33803. The 5K course allows for running or walking at your own pace. After the exercise, join us for food, drinks and fellowship. If it is your first time, come a few minutes early ensuring your ability to sign the waiver before the run starts. Participants receive a free dry-fit shirt after completing 10 runs. Hope to see you there!

* Winter Haven Police Torch RunWinter Haven Police Torch Run

Time: 8:00 am

Winter Haven Police Department 5k Benefitting Special Olympics Florida Law enforcement has been involved in raising funds for the Special Olympics Florida by participating in annual Torch Runs throughout the state. This event is a way for the public to become involved and support the mission of Special Olympics Florida. The course is in downtown Winter Haven beginning in the area of the library and continuing around the beautiful Lake Silver. The race entry fee includes a Special Olympics Torch Run t-shirt (cotton or dri-fit). Vendors will be at the finish line along with music and snacks. Special Olympics athletes will also be in attendance

t’s time to lace up for pi! The Florida Poly Pi Run is back and will feature a scenic 3.14 mile course around our beautiful campus and the award-winning Innovation, Science and Technology building. Runners and walkers are welcome, and all participants can expect real pie at the finish line. The Florida Poly Pi Run celebrates the mathematical constant pi (3.14) and corresponds with National Pi Day on March 14.
